Published on: December 31, 2008

The Society of Leisure Enthusiasts has announced the winner of “Saving the American Vacation for Hard Working Travel Agents” contest. She is Leigh Ann Arnholt, ACC, owner of Matisse Luxury Specialists, the winner of a five-night vacation getaway in Sedona, Ariz. The 4-bedroom luxury modernist villa was graciously provided by Bella Palazzo, a trusted partner of the society and member of the society’s Luxe Alliance, a consortium of the finest property management firms worldwide. According to Michael McFadden, co-founder of the society, “We at the society appreciate the value the travel agent brings to the hospitality and tourism community. The society dedicated one week of our 13-week promotion Save The American Vacation to travel agents. We feel agents are the hard-working front-line personnel assisting their clients in assuring their travel dreams and wishes do come true.”

The Society of Leisure Enthusiasts said it is committed to working with travel agents as partners. Services dedicated to our partners include a separate travel agent portal on the society’s website, a dedicated travel agent toll-free phone number and starting in January 2009, an in-house travel agent to collaborate exclusively with our travel agent partners. As vacation home rental opportunities enter the mainstream, the society will be the preferred partner of the travel agent community providing 5,000-plus pre-screened and quality-assured vacation home opportunities around the world for their clients.
