Uniworld Launches Travel Agent Communication Program

Published on: July 29, 2009

Uniworld Boutique River Cruises is launching a travel industry electronic communication program, ePartners, to help agents who actively sell its products. ePartner will provide communication touch points to travel agents’ clients from the time they book their cruise to after they return, such as: “Thank you for booking,” “Know before you go” and “Welcome home” emails. The emails will always reference the travel agent and/or direct the customer back to the agent. The program will also supply information and tools to help agents generate more future sales and will provide leads by notifying them when their clients order a brochure so the agent can contact them for new business.

“Uniworld’s business model is to support the travel agent community 100 percent and, unlike many of our competitors, we do not solicit consumer direct business,” said Janice Tully, senior vice president of sales. “With this revolutionary program, we have created more relationship-building opportunities between agents and their clients with the end goal of always endearing the agents’ clients back to them.” Travel agents who have booked more than 10 passengers, or are an affiliate partner, will automatically be enrolled in the ePartner program. All other agents can call 800-868-7905 for more information, or visit www.uniworld.com.
