Radisson Plaza Minneapolis Names Mason General Manager

Radisson Hotels & Resorts appointed Tom Mason as the new general manager of the Radisson Plaza Hotel Minneapolis at 35 South 7th St. in the heart of the city's downtown area. Most recently, Mason worked for Turnstone Group, LLC in Minneapolis, responsible for providing direction for hospitality related investments and asset management. Prior to that, he served as general manager for the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis and the Hyatt Whitney. Mason has served in hotel operations and leadership positions for the Hyatt Hotel Corporation since 1981, when he started in the industry as a corporate management trainee. In addition to Minneapolis, he has also served as general manager at the Hyatt Regency Knoxville, Tenn., and was a rooms division manager at Hyatt Regency hotels in Houston, Dallas and San Antonio, Texas.
