The Travel Alliance Formed By Six Destination Specialists
Published on: November 24, 2009
Six top tour operators have formed The Travel Alliance, an association of destination specialists that have been recognized internationally for their trip planning prowess, insider access and exceptional guides. Members of The Travel Alliance include Entree Destinations (www.entreedestinations.com) , a destination specialist for Canada; IC Bellagio (www.icbellagio.com) , which offers high-end trips to Italy; Imperial Tours (www.imperialtours.com) , which features upscale FIT and small group trips to China; Made for Spain (www.madeforspain.com) , which offers high-end independent travel to Spain; Southern Crossings (www.southern-crossings.com) , which offers luxury programs to New Zealand, Australia and the South Pacific; and Trans Africa Safaris (www.transafricasafaris.com) ; one of the oldest wholesale inbound tour operators in Southern Africa.
Leveraging the talents of like-minded tour operators across many countries, The Travel Alliance said it is dedicated to delivering tailor-made itineraries of high quality. It will invite only the best of its peers to join the alliance and then constantly monitor performance of its members to ensure continued excellence. The Travel Alliance is predominantly a cross-selling marketing tool that travel agents can turn to in order to find similar operators in different countries. All the members of the group work with both Virtuoso and Signature Travel Network agent groups. Many have also been selected by Conde Nast Traveler or Travel + Leisure as destination specialists.
