Seabourn Offers Variety of Land Programs in Asia
Published on: December 16, 2009
The Yachts of Seabourn is offering a range of new optional pre-, mid- and post-cruise Seabourn Journeys in Asia that can be combined with the company’s Asia voyages offered year-round in China, Korea, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam aboard Seabourn Pride in 2010. The one- to five-night land packages can be added to select itineraries aboard the all-suite, 208-guest Pride, which will operate a year-round schedule of sailings in the Far East. All Journeys packages are fully escorted, and include deluxe hotel accommodations, transportation, some meals and guided tours.
Seabourn Journeys tours in Asia are available from Bangkok, Thailand; Hong Kong and Shanghai, China; and Kobe, Japan. The packages include the one-night “Angkor, Royal City of the Khmer Empire” trip from Bangkok. Guests travel to Cambodia and discover Angkor Wat, heralded as one of the world’s greatest archaeological sites. This trip is priced at $2,025 per guest, double occupancy. The five-night “Laos & Cambodia” package from Bangkok visits Laos, which is home to the Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Guests will also visit Angkor Wat and other temples in Cambodia. The trip is priced at $3,695 per guest.
Another package goes to the secluded nation of Bhutan in the eastern Himalayas. This kingdom is often called the “Last Shangri-La” and “Heaven on Earth,” with an ancient Tibetan culture and majestic scenery. This five-night pre- or post-cruise Journey from Bangkok costs $6,245 per guest.
For a limited time, The Yachts of Seabourn is offering complimentary roundtrip business-class airfare from 26 North American gateways to eight 12-day voyages in Asia aboard Pride from June 3 to Aug. 22. The included airfare is combinable with early-booking savings of up to 45 percent off brochure fares. All-inclusive fares for the 12-day voyages start at $7,980 per person, double occupancy, and include roundtrip business-class air, airport transfers, and deluxe hotel accommodation where flight schedules require it. The complimentary business-class air offer is subject to space availability. For more information, call 800-929-9391 or visit www.seabourn.com.
