Airline Passenger Group Opens Voting for Passenger Choice Awards

February 19, 2012 9:00 PM

The Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) has opened voting for the third annual Passenger Choice Awards. APEX launched the awards to allow passengers to give airlines direct feedback on every aspect of the flying experience, including in-flight publications, connectivity and communications, food and beverage, informational videos and entertainment, cabin ambiance, and pre-departure experience.

APEX is using a new survey format this year that allows voters to provide specific feedback in just one or two areas -- such as food or movies -- or in all six areas, which completes the entire survey. The survey can be accessed 24/7 all year, so every flight experience can be tabulated. Winners will be announced at the APEX Expo, to be held in Long Beach, Calif., Sept. 17 to 20.
