AmaWaterways Donates Cruise to Cancer Society Benefit

August 02, 2012 10:38 PM

AmaWaterways donated a seven-night Europe river cruise to help raise money at the California Spirit XXIII, Southern California’s largest gala fund-raiser for the American Cancer Society. The event, which was held at the Pacific Design Center, included live and silent auctions.

“We were honored and delighted to be involved in such a great cause,” said Rob Rothmans, vice president of marketing at AmaWaterways. “To help raise money for a disease that affects so many people was gratifying, but to actually be in attendance and speak with some of the members of an organization that plays such a huge role in helping families, colleagues and loved ones suffering or affected by cancer was truly the highlight of the evening.”
