American Airlines and American Eagle suspended services from 22 airports in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions of the U.S. through Oct. 31 due to Hurricane Sandy. The hurricane’s aftermath may force additional delays and cancellations of scheduled flights beyond Wednesday, the airline announced.
Travelers with tickets were issued by Oct. 26 and ticketed for travel through Oct. 31 on American Airlines, American Eagle or American Connection flights to, from or through mid-Atlantic and Northeast airports are eligible to change flights without penalty and have ticket-reissue charges waived for one ticket change.
