AMResorts to Open Dreams Resort & Spa in Costa Rica

AMResorts has signed on for a new Dreams Resort & Spa in Costa Rica. The 400-suite property will be the company’s first in the country, and the fourth in AMResorts’ portfolio. The resort will be situated in Santa Elena, north of Papagayo, about an hour from the Liberia Airport, near the border with Nicaragua and adjacent to a national park. According to Alex Zozaya, CEO and president of AMResorts, construction is expected to begin on the new-build resort before the end of 2010, with plans to open the property before the end of 2012.
