Brendan Vacations launched its new Boutique Journeys program for 2013 with a new brochure presenting nearly 35 itineraries to more than 30 destinations around the world. The product model of the Boutique Journeys is to have more intimate groups, a maximum of 24 guests per group with greater flexibility and freedom of movement, and an emphasis in producing more in-depth penetration of the destination and more involvement with its residents as well as other members of the group.

Boutique Journeys are designed to bring more of the advantages of independent travel to the experience without losing the advantages of having the trip organized by seasoned destination specialists who are dealing with the destination on a week-by-week destination and are up to date with all its changes and conditions.

Brendan also joined with the Slow Food Organization and is partnering with the organization to offer the Slow Food Travel program exclusively in the U.S. market. Slow Food is part of a global, grassroots movement with thousands of members in more than 150 countries. The organization combines the pleasure of fine food with a commitment to community and the environment. Brendan is offering six Slow Food Travel itineraries, mixing together regionally grown ingredients, historic locales and local hosts. The Slow Food Travel itineraries are being offered in France, Italy, Colombia, Guatemala, India and Myanmar and other countries.

Brendan offers Boutique Journeys to France, Italy, Greece, Ireland, South and Central America, China, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, South Africa, Iceland and India. Among the Boutique Journeys are the seven-day Piedmont's Gastronomic Pleasures (Slow Food Itinerary); the 17-day Portrait of Indo China; the 14-day A World in One Country; and the seven-day Baja California and the Great Gray Whale Migration.
