The Alisal Guest Ranch & Resort in Solvang, Calif., has announced its fall and winter packages. The Couples Boot Camp, which takes place Oct. 18 to 21, features daily horseback rides including a breakfast ride, rodeo instruction, a fly-fishing lesson, a massage for two, a gourmet wine dinner and special lakeside dinner, a moonlight hay ride, romantic turn-down gifts, and taxes and service charges. The rate for the three-night package is $2,550 per couple

The Harvest Weekend with Lucas and Lewellen Vineyards, which takes place Nov. 9 to 11, includes a welcome basket, a welcome wine reception and barbecue dinner, a Sunday breakfast ride, transportation and admission to the Lucas and Lewellen Harvest Party, a wine reception, a winemaker’s dinner with Lucas and Lewellen principals, and taxes and service charges. Rates for this two-night package start at $1,500 per couple, depending on accommodations.

            The three-night BBQ Boot Camp package, which takes place March 21 to 24, features a welcome basket with Western-style weekend accessories; special dinners with local celebrity chefs, winemakers and brew masters; workshops on grilling methods and equipment, barbecue instruction, spice blending and other topics; a keepsake booklet for notes and recipes; and a Saturday morning breakfast horseback or hay ride.
