Collette Vacations Reports Strong Growth in U.S., Canada
Collette Vacations reported strong revenue and passenger growth from tours along the West Coast and Gulf Coast regions in the United States, as well as its Canadian Rockies by Train trip. In California and the Pacific Northwest, Collette reports 30 percent growth in revenue and 25 percent growth in passenger count. The Pacific Northwest and California, Alaska Discovery and Hawaiian Adventure tours have contributed toward the rise in traveler interest. Along the Gulf Coast, America's Music Cities tour has seen a 40 percent growth in both revenue and passenger count.
“Visiting three of America’s most famed musical cities -- New Orleans, Memphis and Nashville -- is a main reason why travelers book this tour with Collette,” said Joyce Gaouette, director of product, Collette Vacations. “Our customers most enjoy touring historic RCA Studio B, where Elvis recorded his hit songs, having reserved seats and a backstage tour at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, and visiting a local jazz club in New Orleans.”
Collette’s Canadian Rockies by Train tour scores high with an overnight journey aboard The Canadian by VIA Rail, viewing coastal forests, river canyons and the peaks of the Canadian Rockies to stays at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and Fairmont Banff Springs.
Collette Vacations is a family-owned business headquartered in Pawtucket, R.I., offering 150 programs to destinations on all seven continents.
