Delta Hotels Names Bird, Bhojwani Senior Vice Presidents

Delta Hotels and Resorts appointed two senior positions at its corporate office in Toronto. David Bird has been appointed to the newly reinstated position of senior vice president, operations. In this role, Bird will support Delta’s brand commitment to ensuring consistent product and service delivery, as well as determining strategic capital investment opportunities that provide appropriate owner return. Prior to joining Delta's corporate office, Bird was vice president, operations for the prairies region and general manager of the Delta Calgary Airport, where he oversaw multiple hotels across an expansive area.


Romy Bhojwani has been appointed to the newly created position of senior vice president, asset management. In this capacity, Bhojwani will be responsible for value creation of existing owned real estate, as well as the execution of strategic growth objectives for the brand's ownership groups. He most recently held the position of senior vice president, real estate, with Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels, where he led hotel real estate transactions valued at over $300 million, and provided strategic advisory and asset management services to a variety of global hospitality investors.
