Expedia Reports Q4 2011 Caribbean Bookings Spike

Online travel retailer Expedia reported a 12 percent increase in room nights booked to Caribbean destinations in the fourth quarter of 2011. The sales were recorded via the Expedia and Hotels.com websites. Of the destinations tracked, the destinations with the largest year-over-year bookings growth were Trinidad & Tobago, with a 46 percent increase in bookings; the Dominican Republic (40 percent); and the Bahamas (25 percent). Also, Curacao bookings increased 21 percent, bookings in the Turks & Caicos grew 18 percent and St. Lucia increased by 15 percent. Caribbean bookings from the U.S. increased 12 percent. Bahamas room nights for 2012 are running 30 percent above 2011 levels, and may reach 200,000 room nights, according to an Expedia official.

according to me the story above is teliing the right figures as i myself visited one of the beautiful island in carribean and i can't explain in words the experience out there it was Saint Lucia lies to the south of Martinique and to the northwest of Barbados "http://www.stlucia.cc"
i got exciting with a beautiful resort which gave us view of twin pitons on this island .sea food was amazing
