The Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas will host the Fourth Annual TributePalooza on New Year’s Eve from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. The party will feature two bands -- Steel Panther and Rock Sugar -- in addition to free concerts by 10 tribute bands channeling bands like U2, Bon Jovi and the Red Hot Chili Peppers on Dec. 30, 2011, and Jan. 1, 2012.
TributePalooza will also include a 2011 year-in-review retrospective on the Viva Vision screen, a midnight countdown led by Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman, and fireworks, all of which are part of the citywide celebration “America’s Party: Las Vegas New Year 2012.” On New Year’s Eve, admission to TributePalooza is $30 per person (over age 21 only).
