Frontier Airlines Starts Nonstop Denver-Punta Cana Service

April 03, 2012 10:10 PM

Frontier Airlines is adding new nonstop seasonal service between Denver (DEN) and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (PUJ), taking the number of nonstop Frontier routes from Denver to a record 68. The service will operate Saturdays beginning June 9 and continuing through Aug. 4.

Additionally, Frontier will double its existing nonstop summer service between Denver and Cabo San Lucas/Los Cabos, Mexico (SJD). A second weekly flight will operate Wednesdays from May 23 to Aug. 8, in addition to the year-round service already offered on Saturdays. Frontier also operates an enhanced Cabo schedule during the winter months, typically running eight flights weekly from December through April.

Introductory fares -- which include all transportation fees, surcharges and taxes -- begin at $350 each way for Denver-Punta Cana service and $246 each way for Denver-Cabo San Lucas service. Members of Frontier’s EarlyReturns frequent flyer program can earn double miles for every qualifying flight they take on the new Punta Cana route.
