G Adventures is catching the wave of interest building in Brazil as the country heads towards the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2016 Olympics with new offerings designed to provide clients the experience of Brazil’s greatest event of all -- Carnival in Rio.

            G Adventures is offering two packages for the Carnival Parade that include entrance to the Sambadrome, and the services of a G Adventures CEO (Chief Experience Officer) as a host in Rio. The six-day Rio de Janeiro Carnival Experience is priced from $1,909 per person, double occupancy, with what G Adventures calls a “standard-level hotel.” With a “comfort-level hotel” the package is priced from $2,769 per person. Prices are land only. The package is available from Feb. 7, 2013.

            G Adventures offers a range of programs for travel in South America, including The Best of Brazil, a nine-day trip from Rio priced from $2,399 per person.
