General Tours Launches Luxury Tenting Safari in East Africa

February 21, 2012 10:18 PM

General Tours is offering a new East African luxury tented camp safari. It’s part of the operator’s series of small group tours to Kenya and Tanzania, and features accommodations in high-end camps and lodges that offer exclusive game drives and uncrowded wildlife encounters.

The program includes a stay at the Lemala Ndutu Luxury Camp in the Southern Serengeti National Park in Tanzania during the months of December through March, the part of the Great Migration when more than 1.5 million wildebeest and zebra are in the area, arriving in December and staying through March as the calving season begins. Clients will move north with the migration and stay in tented camps at the Lemala Mara North Serengeti near two of the largest Migration crossing points on the Mara River.

The package also includes a hot air balloon trip that ends with a champagne breakfast and a meeting with the son of a local Masaai chief. General Tours offers small group, privately guided and small ship journeys to Asia, Europe, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East.
