Target Market

Since its product offering is so wide, GOGO serves many types of clientele. Agents can match their clients’ interests with the company’s specialty vacations—luxury, honeymoon and destination wedding, family, ski and snowboard, spa and golf, all-inclusive or OUTgoing (gay and lesbian travel).

How To Sell

Not only should you let clients know that they are getting very good value with a GOGO product, you should stress that GOGO—with its “GOGO Recommends” program—only works with select partners who they’ve determined will deliver a top-notch vacation experience.

Established in 1951, GOGO Vacations is a leading wholesaler of value- and amenity-packed vacation packages. With more than 40 local sales offices, GOGO exclusively serves the United States travel agent community. GOGO offers its 18,000+ travel agent customers competitive commissions, comprehensive marketing programs, co-op advertising opportunities, a 24/7 sales and support desk, FAM trips, and a brand new amenities program called My Time.

GOGO Vacations markets a wide variety of FIT programs, including specialty vacations such as luxury, honeymoon and destination wedding, family, ski and snowboard, spa and golf, and all-inclusive. The company’s main focus is the Caribbean and Mexico. However, it also features Costa Rica, Belize, Canada, the U.S., Europe, Hawaii, and much more!  Pricing varies based on the product booked but with a Price Beat Promise, you can be guaranteed you will always receive the lowest price in the industry. GOGO considers travel agents to be the company’s frontline team, putting a face on their product, and selling the excitement and romance of travel every day. GOGO supports its travel agent partners with advertising collateral, an agent-only website, a consumer website that drives business directly to travel agents, product and customer service training, fam trips, learning conferences and worldwide showcases. The company’s Business Development Managers conduct in-agency training year-round. GOGO also offers training at its Worldwide Showcases (also year-round, around the country) and at its two Destination Learning Conferences. Agents can find event information and their local BDM on GOGO’S agent website (www.gogowwv.com). Agents who visit the site should sign up for GOGO’s Deal of the Day to receive the company’s most up-to-date information. GOGO pays travel agent commission based on annual net revenue: 12% (up to $74,999); 13% ($75,000–$124,999); and 14% ($125,000 and up). It also pays commission on hotel taxes and services at the time of final payment.
