Healing Hotels of the World, a brand of carefully selected properties designed to provide holistic healing experiences, has added a mix of urban hotels, which include Raffles Paris and Singapore, the Park Hyatt Dubai and the Metropolitan London. It has also added Aqua Wellness in Nicaragua and the Park Hotel Borjomi in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia.

Speaking at an event in New York to kick off promotions of the brand in North America Healing Hotels of the World Co-Founder Anne Biging said that the 25-year-old company is growing at a rate of 30 percent each year. It currently features 80 hotels in its portfolio, which must meet strict criteria to join the brand. Biging said that Healing Hotels of the World has plans to expand its offerings in both North America and China and Korea.

Biging said she believes the brand will continue to experience buoyant growth, in large part due to the increasing consumer demand for healing and wellness experiences versus pure spa vacations. “There’s a revolution happening,” she said. “Each guest at a healing hotel becomes whole in body and mind – something happens inside and out.” She added that there’s been a strong interest in the company from the travel agency community, and Healing Hotels of the World is currently developing an educational program to edify retailers on its product offerings.
