Hilton Opens First DoubleTree Property on Okinawa

Hilton Worldwide has opened the chain’s first-ever upscale DoubleTree by Hilton property in Naha, Okinawa. The 227-room hotel is located opposite the Okinawa Monorail station in Asahibashi, 11 minutes from Naha Airport by monorail and 500 yards from the local ferry terminal.
The hotel is also close to major local attractions such as Kokusai Dori, the premier shopping district in Naha. The World Heritage-listed Shuri Castle, formerly a royal palace during the time of the Ryuku Kingdom, is located three miles away and other nearby attractions include the Okinawa Peace Memorial and numerous beaches.
