Houston's Hobby Airport Reopens Departure-Level Ramp, Opens Pappas Bar-B-Q

Houston’s Hobby Airport has reopened its departure-level roadway/drop-off ramp to vehicle traffic. The ramp is part of the Hobby Airport construction project, which began in October 2011 and is designed to improve safety by eliminating curbs and provide protected walkways.
Meanwhile, Texas-based Pappas Restaurants opened Pappas Bar-B-Q. The restaurant is located in the airport lobby before passengers go through the security checkpoint screening area. Pappas Bar-B-Q operates from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Friday and 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays.
