International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) 2012, scheduled for Cannes, France, Dec. 3-6, will feature an interview with P.R.S. Oberoi, chairman and CEO of The Oberoi Group, during the ILTM Opening Forum on Monday Dec. 3. Oberoi will discuss the Oberoi brand and his predictions for the future of luxury travel.

 “We are delighted that Mr. P.R.S. Oberoi, an icon in the world of luxury travel, will be sharing the Oberoi success story, his involvement in developing hotels that reflect their local environment and his prominent recognition of all Oberoi staff,” ILTM said.

The interview will be conducted by Clara Glowczewska, editor-in-chief of Condé Nast Traveler, who will also ask Oberoi about the origins and progress of The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development, considered to be among the best in Asia. The ILTM Opening Forum also will showcase new research in luxury travel trends for the future and a presentation by John Andrews, consultant editor for The Economist’s “The World in 2013” following his similar presentations at ILTM 2010 and 2011. His presentation will predict the world economy in 2013 as well as countries, industries and people to watch. ILTM will serve as a platform where global luxury travel suppliers can meet with the world’s most discerning international luxury travel agents, buyers and designers.
