JetBlue, Virgin America Hold Special Cyber-Monday Sales
JetBlue and Virgin America are both offering cyber-Monday specials. JetBlue Getaways is holding a “Top Secret Sale” for customers traveling from Boston and New York metro airports to six domestic and international destinations. And Virgin America is holding a "Cool Flights, Subzero Fares" sale, with fares as low as $39, for travel across its network – including its warm weather destinations.
JetBlue’s getaway destinations include: Barbados; Cancun; Las Vegas; Orlando; Saint Lucia; and Tampa. Until 11:59 p.m. ET tonight, travelers can book four-day, three-night vacation packages, including air and hotel, as low as $99 per person to their destination of choice at www.jetblue.com/vacations. Once the destination is selected, JetBlue Getaways will identify the hotel 72 hours before departure. The hotel is guaranteed to be a three- to five-star property. Travel must occur between Dec. 5 and Dec. 14. This offer is good for a minimum and maximum three-night stay only on a limited number of packages. Customers will not know which hotel when booking but will be contacted 72 hours in advance of their departure date by email and given the name of the hotel and package details.
Sample fares for Virgin America’s sale include Boston-Los Angeles and New York-Los Angeles, $109; San Francisco to Los Angeles, Las Vegas or San Diego, $39; Fort Lauderdale-Las Vegas, $139; and San Francisco-Los Cabos, $159. Tickets are one-way, based on travel originating from the U.S., and require a seven-day advance purchase. Tickets must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. PST on Dec. 6, 2010. Fares do not include Passenger Facility Charges of up to $9 each way, September 11th Security Fees of up to $5 each way and a Federal Segment Tax of $3.70 per domestic segment. Travel must occur between Dec. 6, 2010 and May 11, 2011, unless specified otherwise. For more information, visit www.jetblue.com/vacationsor www.virginamerica.com.
