The former Se Hotel in San Diego has relaunched as Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants’ Hotel Palomar San Diego. The property offers 183 guestrooms, including 17 skyline suites and 20 luxury flats, all with a contemporary design. The hotel also offers a roof deck lounge, an infinity-edged pool, a spa, a ballroom and more than 20,000 square feet of event space decorated with art from San Diego artists.

Its new restaurant, Saltbox Dining and Drinking, is an American “gastro-lounge” helmed by Executive Chef Simon Dolinky. The restaurant features fresh, seasonal ingredients in “social plates” meant for sharing. The hotel is also partnering with local cultural organizations to offer special programs. For example, it is partnering with the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego to offer customized packages featuring museum tickets. For more information, call 800-546-7866.
