Leading Hotels of the World Adds Nine New Member Properties
Leading Hotels of the World recently welcomed nine new member properties in Europe, Asia and the United States. The new properties include the Falkensteiner Schlosshotel Velden on Austria’s Lake Woerthersee, a 103-room former summer palace featuring panoramic lake and mountain views plus indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, a hot water pool, two private spa suites, a fitness room and a private beach club with direct lake access. Accommodations feature LCD television, wireless LAN, refreshment center with complimentary soft drinks, and marble bathrooms with rain showers.
Also new to the group is the 99-room Hotel Monte Mulini in Rovinj, Croatia, whose accommodations feature balconies with panoramic views of the nearby cove and protected parkland. Other new Leading Hotels of the World Properties include Portugal’s Pousada de Cascais; the Residence Maldives on Falhumaafushi, an island in the Huvadhoo Atoll; the Chateau Haiyi Guangzhou on China’s Shajiao Island; the Chateau Nouveau Pudong in Shanghai, China; Thailand’s Okura Prestige Bangkok; Colorado’s Hotel Madeline Telluride; and the lan Hotel Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas.
