Madison’s Montpelier to Open New War of 1812 Exhibit

James Madison's Montpelier, the home of the Father of the Constitution, will open its new exhibit "A Young Nation Stands: James Madison and the War of 1812" on the bicentennial anniversary of the War of 1812. On the eve of the war, the United States was in its infancy and questions loomed: could the United States win a war against Great Britain, and could such a young constitutional republic survive a war? The exhibit will include three interactive components.
