Meliá Hotels International Opens Sol Wave House in Mallorca
Meliá Hotels International and its partner company Wave House inaugurated the new Sol Wave House, located on the beach in Magaluf, Mallorca. The property is the first European project for the American brand which combines music, bars, restaurants, boutiques and outdoor parties with wave simulation facilities.
Wave House Mallorca, which occupies the ground floor of the Sol Wave House, recreates the challenges of the ocean through an artificial wave technology already present on four continents and now available in Mallorca. The Wave House area has two wave machines -- the FlowBarrel and double FlowRider. Both the hotel and the new Wave House leisure complex are part of the major Calviá Beach Resort tourism project which aims to renovate tourism in Magaluf and create a new image for the destination.
