Mexico’s Rosewood Mayakoba Resort Offers Spa, Cuisine Packages
The all-suite, 128-room Rosewood Mayakoba resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico, is offering two travel packages focusing on Mayan inspired spa treatments using traditional healing techniques and new culinary concepts and menus from the resort’s award-winning restaurants.
The five-day Rosewood Rebirth package features a private airport transfer in a Rosewood Mayakoba SUV; a welcome reception with the resort’s managing director; a special lecture on the history of Mexico through the Pre-Hispanic, Spanish colonial and contemporary times; a tour of the Mayan ruins of Coba guided by a professional archeologist; a beachside luncheon; a beachfront feast featuring Mexican delicacies, traditional Mayan music and a traditional purification ceremony led by a Mayan shaman priest; a choice of touring the Chichen Itza pyramids and visiting Valladolid, or exploring Tulum and sea snorkeling; lunch at Chichen Itza; a private tequila tasting; a choice of tour to Sian Ka´An, or an eco-adventure and cave snorkeling expedition; lunch at the tour location; and a private airport transfer in a Rosewood Mayakoba SUV. The package is priced at $79,000 per couple appllied to bookings made by Oct. 1, 2012 for stays from Dec. 20 to 24, 2012.
