The Millennium UN Plaza Hotel reopened as ONE UN New York with the unveiling of its $30 million West Tower renovation, featuring fully refurbished guest rooms, public spaces and skyline club. The second phase of the ONE UN’s renovation is scheduled to be completed next year. It will include a new restaurant and bar and full lobby renovations. The refit’s third phase will include East Tower upgrades and will remain open.

The West Tower’s 154 renovated deluxe guest rooms and suites feature breathtaking skyline views. With rooms starting on the 29th floor of the 40-floor tower, guests may enjoy views from the Chrysler Building to the under-construction Freedom Tower at Ground Zero in lower Manhattan.

Starting at 367 square feet, guest rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows and warm interiors in bronze and taupe hues. Technology includes touch-screen environment controls, iPod docking stations, Nespresso coffee machines and complimentary Wi-Fi. A private Skyline Club on the 30th floor provides personalized concierge services, continental breakfast, all-day refreshments, evening cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

The completion of the first phase of the hotel’s renovation also includes a new café featuring fresh-brewed Illy coffee, food menu and wine service in the evenings. Café refreshments may also be enjoyed in a piazza-style outdoor area by the front of the hotel.
