MLT Vacations will add two more brands to its stable of airline brand vacation package operations on Jan. 1, 2012: Air France Holidays and Alitalia Vacations. The new product lines will be co-branded with Delta Vacations Europe products. MLT announced its two new brands at the 18th annual MLT University at the St. Paul River Centre in St. Paul, Minn., Oct. 2-4. MLT is the operator for Delta Vacations as well as for United Vacations and Continental Airlines Vacations, which were merged last month under the brand United Vacations.

This year’s MLT University is the biggest in company history, with 2,500 travel agents attending, up from 2,000 last year. The event offered more than 40 destination classes and a tradeshow with more than 200 supplier partners from the destinations MLT services worldwide, including the Caribbean, Mexico, Australia, South Africa and Asia. A ceremony was held to recognize winners of the 2011 MLT Vacations Quality Assurance Award, which was awarded to 193 of MLT’s hotel partners out of 2,500 that earned 99 percent satisfaction ratings from customer feedback from 500,000 clients.

MLT also rolled out a new travel agent incentive called Get Your Game On, launching Oct. 3, which will award more than $100,000 in cash to travel agents as well as opportunities for travel and prizes.

In other developments from MLTU, the company is expanding its Hawaii product offerings, adding honeymoon packages for Costa Rica, offering new bridal kits to help travel agents generate exposure at wedding shows, and launching a price match program for hotel-only bookings in addition to a low-price guarantee program already offered on air/hotel packages.

MLT Vacations is one of the largest tour operators in the United States and with more than 40 years in business. For more information, call 800-727-1111 or visit www.worldagentdirect.com.
