Momondo Launches Search Engine for Multi-Stop, Roundtrip Travel

July 27, 2011 10:22 PM

Momondo has launched a new search engine for multi-stop, roundtrip travel. The initiative makes it possible to search flights with multiple destinations in just one search and compare the best prices for the total trip. The multi-destination search feature is a new addition to Momondo's travel search that previously has offered only one-way and standard return-trip flights.

Examples of multi-stop, roundtrip flights might include flying from New York to London, then from London to Paris, then taking the train to Rome and flying back to New York from Rome, or flying from New York to San Francisco, taking a road trip to Los Angeles and flying back to New York from Los Angeles. Or it could involve flying from New York to Tokyo but returning from Tokyo to Washington, D.C. and later returning back to New York on one's own by car, bus or train.
