New York City Vacation Packages (NYCVP) is offering packages for three new NYC Insider parties for 2012, designed to give clients opportunities to experience New York events as insiders. Guests at NYCVP’s Thanksgiving VIP Parade View Party will have a breakfast buffet and exclusive access to a private outdoor viewing area for parade. Also included is a choice of sightseeing tours, a Wednesday afternoon hosted tour of the Parade Balloon Inflation area or a Thursday evening narrated and guided Holiday Displays motorcoach tour of the famous department store windows.

Clients can pre-purchase Thanksgiving day lunch, a buffet turkey dinner, Friday morning breakfast with Santa Claus, Statue of Liberty and National 911 Memorial tours, Radio City Christmas Spectacular tickets, Broadway shows and a Friday evening Christmas Holiday Walking Tour. The Insider’s Thanksgiving VIP Parade View Party is available only through the company’s official website, or a travel agent, with a four-night or longer hotel stay at the host hotel for the event, the Hilton New York Hotel. Arrival dates are Nov. 19, 20 or 21.

NYCVP has also arranged an exclusive cocktail party the evening of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree lighting at Brasserie Ruhlmann in Rockefeller Plaza. Clients will have exclusive use of the facilities at the Brasserie, including the outdoor patio that features a direct close-up view of the tree. They’ll also be among the few who have approval to enter the Rockefeller Center area for the tree lighting event. Beginning at 7 p.m., there will be an open bar and hors d’oeuvre stations available. A New York City historian and lecturer will talk about the history and architecture of Rockefeller Center and the world-famous tree, and an entertaining local expert will be on hand to inform the group about the array of holiday decorations throughout the City.

Just before 9 p.m., guests can gather in the outdoor patio to watch the lighting of the tree. A professional photographer will be available for keepsake photos. NYCVP has arranged specially priced hotel accommodations at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel and at the Sheraton New York Hotel for arrivals on Nov. 27 or 28.

For New Year's Eve, NYCVP has arranged a New Year’s Eve Times Square Ball Drop Gala in a suite high above Times Square on the 22nd and 23rd floors of Sentry Center. The event will feature DJ dance music, hors d’oeuvres and desserts, open bar and a view of the city lights, the celebration and the Times Square Ball Drop. Guests at this NYCVP New Year’s Eve event can opt for specially priced accommodations at the Sheraton New York Hotel, directly across the street from the gala party.
