Lufthansa Strike Rolls On as 100,000 Passengers Stranded Wednesday
On Wednesday, German airline Lufthansa was forced to cancel another batch of flights due to a continuing strike by onboard crew members, stranding about 100,000 passengers as the airline’s employee walked off the job once again.

American Airlines Sets Traffic Record in October
The American Airlines Group announced its traffic results for October 2015, revealing that the company's total revenue passenger miles were 18.9 billion, up 5.8 percent versus October 2014. The company also announced total capacity was 22.2 billion available seat miles, up 2.1 percent from the same month last year. This was the airline’s highest October capacity to date.

United Airlines Improves On-Time Percentage for October
United Airlines announced that the company had completed 87.6 percent of its mainline flights on time in October, a 10.2 percent increase from the 77.4 percent it amassed in October 2014.

EasyJet Designed New High-Tech Uniforms for Crew
European carrier EasyJet has designed new uniforms for its crew members that feature LED lights in case of an emergency, microphones for direct communication between the captain and crew, cameras, air quality sensors and a barometer.

Air France Teams with JonOne for Custom Logo
Air France has teamed up with New York-born painter/graffiti artist JonOne to redesign the company’s giant accent on one of its Boeing 777 airplanes. The art represents the French flag and symbolizes freedom, and is part of the company’s 80th anniversary celebration.

Alaska Airlines Most Fuel Efficient U.S. Carrier for Fifth Consecutive Year
According to a report from the International Council on Clean Transportation, Alaska Airlines is ranked No. 1 as the most fuel efficient airline in the United States. This was the fifth year in a row that Alaska Airlines has finished at the top of the list.
