An American Airlines flight attendant has been charged with voyeurism after border patrol agents found several videos on the man's phone of boys and men using the restroom, according to reports.
Gabriel Nobriga, 50, was apparently trying to cross the border and leave the country in El Paso, Texas, on Dec. 30 when the discovery was made. Agents, who have the legal authority to search cellphones at the border without a warrant, found the photos on Nobriga's device.

The photos apparently did not come from any American Airlines restrooms or from Phoenix's Sky Harbor International Airport, where Nobriga is based. Instead, after the photos were forwarded to Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), it was determined the photos were taken through a peephole in a public restroom stall at a Phoenix-area Walmart.
But Nobriga was not arrested until May, and it is not known if he was still employed by American Airlines during that time.
In a statement, American said: "We take this matter very seriously, and have been cooperating with law enforcement throughout their investigation. Since this case is a pending criminal matter, we must refer all questions to Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the U.S. Attorney's Office in Phoenix."
