What's the old saying? It's better to be p***ed off than to be p***ed on?
Unfortunately, one passenger on an Air Méditerranée flight from Algiers to Paris on Monday didn't get a choice.
A man who was apparently upset that he could not drink or smoke on the 90-minute flight became so belligerent that he stood up - his shirt already removed for some reason - and turned back toward his seatmate, unzipped his pants, and urinated all over the fellow male passenger.

As you might expect, that didn't end well for anybody. Multiple media outlets reported that the shocking pee-pee recipient stood up and began what witnesses said became a "big brawl" on the plane, until flight attendants were able to corral the Mad Urinator and hold him down while the captain diverted the flight to Lyon, France.
The man who started the melee with his urination and another man were ordered off the plane and taken into custody. The flight continued on to Paris' Charles de Gaulle International Airport, albeit three hours late (following what we hope was at least a cursory cleanup).
This is not the first time something like this has happened. London's Daily Mail reports that last Sepember a 27-year-old man was arrested at Portland International Airport in Oregon after he allegedly urinated on fellow passengers on a JetBlue flight from Anchorage. The man was apparently trying to urinate through the space in the seats in front of him, lost his balance and, uh, sprayed fellow passengers.

In 2011, French actor Gerard Depardieu peed on a CityJet flight from Paris to Dublin while it was taxiing to the runway. Told he could not go to the bathroom until the plane was airborne, Depardieu relieved himself in the aisle. The plane returned to the gate and the actor was removed.
Here is a very tongue-in-cheek animation by TomoNews describing the incident from Monday.
