Delta Air Line has had about enough of Ann Coulter's twitter rant. For nearly 24 hours, the political commentator has unleashed a fierce tweet storm against the airline after it changed her "CAREFULLY SELECTED, PRE-BOOKED" seat earlier this weekend.

Now Delta has publically offered a refund of the $30 Coulter paid to secure the seat in Comfort class.

What's more, the airline is calling out Coulter for her behavior towards its customers and employees, calling her insults "unacceptable and unnecessary."

Being chastised by Delta has clearly further stoked Coulter's ire, who has now taken to tweeting out what negative news stories she can find about the airline.

We can only wonder where this madness will end.

Original Story:

Ann Coulter is mad as hell and she isn't going to take this affront sitting down.

The TV personality and political commentator was booked on Delta Air Lines Flight 2852 from New York La Guardia Airport to Palm Beach International Airport. Apparently, however, Coulter doesn't have status with Delta, as she said she paid extra to sit in a "carefully selected" Delta Comfort seat, which is essentially located in economy class but provides a little extra leg room.

Details are sparse on the whys, but it appears a Delta flight attendant asked her to swap seats, which set Coulter spiraling into a major Twitter temper tantrum.

[CALLOUT]

She started her massive tweet volley with a shot at Delta, which she called "the worst airline in America."

Ostensibly, "being safe" is a reference to a very public incident that occurred on a different airline earlier this year.

One tweet wasn't enough for Coulter, who continued to vent her wrath on social media.

Then, apparently, railing against Delta didn't do enough to assuage Coulter's anger, which is when she posted a picture of the woman who ended up in her seat.

Then Coulter took shots at Delta's Wi-Fi, apparently angered that a) it didn't work and that b) it isn't free.

While this go-round she praised JetBlue for its Wi-Fi, readers with a long memory may recall that time she took to Twitter to suggest a JetBlue pilot might be drunk because he showed up late for the flight.

Still not satisfied she'd made her point, Coulter continued her rant.

Nearly 18 hours after her initial Twitter volley, Coulter still hadn't recovered from the affront heaped upon her by Delta. So, she continued her tirade.

She even managed to incorporate her wrath into tweets about other subjects, including a tweet aobut a proposed mission to Mars:

And repealing Obamacare:

The future of robot technology:

And even immigration:

While the tweet storm would seemingly have people believe that Coulter lost the extra leg room she carefully planned for, it seems that isn't actually the case.

An editor at BuzzFeed, Ellen Cushing tweeted that she had a conversation with a Delta spokesperson who said Coulter was merely moved to a different seat in the same row, which would mean of course, that Coulter had all the leg room she paid for.

Not surprisingly, the Twitter-verse had a field day in response to Coulter's woes. Many have remarked on how Delta has now become their favorite airline.

Which has caused others to comment on the fact that Coulter's behavior is actually causing people to side with an airline.

Other Twitter users wondered why Coulter didn't just book first class, to begin with.

A few remarked on the fact that taking a photo of a fellow passenger quite possibly violated the woman's right to privacy.

Others still are just having a great time at the entertainer's expense.

To be clear, not everyone responded negatively towards Coulter.

For TravelPulse, we're still stuck on the fact that Coulter doesn't fly business class and that she has to pay for upgrades to comfort class. She probably didn't use a travel agent either.
