Uh-oh.
Delta Air Lines just joined the 'multiple airline incidents club.'
According to a report in the New York Post, a family from Suffern, N.Y. has filed suit against the Atlanta-based carrier after a gate agent smacked a cellphone out of their 12-year old son's hand as he filmed in the gate area.
The youngster, Matthew Boggan, said he wanted to capture fellow passengers' reactions to an announcement by the agent following an exhausting 17-hour delay on a flight from New York's LaGuardia Airport to Florida.
The Boggan family and many others slept in the gate area overnight after multiple delays.
The incident happened last summer and the family filed suit in 2016, but the news is just coming to light now, barely a week after Delta made news for booting a passenger off a plane who had to use the restroom while the plane was delayed on the runway.

And, of course, barely a month since well-publicized customer service debacles on United and American Airlines.
According to the family, after waiting 12 hours, including overnight, Matthew Boggan used his phone to record the scene on Snapchat. As he started recording, a Delta employee approached him and then "smacked" the phone out of his hand, according to the Post.
"She just came over and hit me," he told the paper. "My phone went flying. I was in shock."
The Delta agent told the boy it was illegal to film the scene, the suit says.
The Boggan family is seeking unspecified damages from Delta. An attorney for the airline said the boy, "interfered with the Delta agent's ability to communication an announcement."
