Normally, we hate when someone's elbows come over onto our side of the airplane seat. So you understand our shock (and delight) to hear this wonderful story.

According to the post, the parties involved were taking a Delta flight recently.
Many of us can relate to traveling under extreme duress. Well, imagine traversing an airport and then a packed plane with not one, but two infants on your arms!
As relayed via the post, an attendant told this mother that she would not be allowed to hold two children and would have to get off the plane.
Instead of seeing her fellow traveler kicked off, one woman offered something quite amazing.
According to the post, "A mother sitting in front of me, with permission from the other mother, volunteered to hold one of her babies for the entire flight. Keep in mind this was a flight that was supposed to be a quick 45 minutes. We ended up sitting on the tarmac for 2 1/2 hours!
"Without a complaint, this woman fed the other woman's baby and burped him."

"Our job is to help other people," said the good Samaritan. "This mom is all by herself with no help, and really needs another mom to help."
This is exactly the kind of story we need during these times of travel cynicism, (even if this does little to change our minds regarding an individual's armrest space, which is still very sacred on the plane).
