Flying out of the Emerald City is about to get a whole lot more delicious for passengers flying First Class with Delta Air Lines.
The Atlanta-based airline announced Wednesday that its in-flight First Class menus aboard certain flights out of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport will feature a plethora of craft food and beverage options from local suppliers, including Pike Place Fish Market.
The new menus will launch Thursday on flights from Seattle to Los Angeles and San Francisco before expanding to other mainline lunch and dinner flights ranging from 900 to 1,500 miles.
In addition to the iconic Pike Place Market, participating local purveyors include Pike Place Chowder, The Pike Brewing Company's XXXXX Stout Mustard, Uli's Famous Sausage, Beecher's Handmade Cheese, Le Panier Bakery and Pappardelle's Pasta.
Sample menu items include Pappardelle's lavender fettuccine with Pike Place Fish Market's wild Alaskan coho salmon and Northwest Seafood Seasoning and Uli's Famous German bratwurst and smoked bacon sausage with German potato salad and sauerkraut with sauteed apples.

Delta said that all of the menu pairings will include Pike Place Chowder's clam chowder, Le Panier Brioche and a Le Panier chocolate macaron with chocolate ganache.
"Fresh, local and sustainable are core tenets of Pacific Northwest cuisine and Delta's onboard food and beverage program, and that's precisely the philosophy we follow with our new menus," said Delta's Vice President - Seattle Mike Medeiros in a statement. "Our region's most recognized purveyors shine in these thoughtfully crafted menus, giving Delta customers from around the world a taste of Seattle, whether they're destined for Sea-Tac or just passing through."
This isn't the first time Delta has partnered with a Seattle icon. The carrier already serves Starbucks Pike Place Roast and Starbucks VIA Ready Brew Italian Roast decaf on all of its flights and Seattle-based Fremont Brewing's Universale Pale Ale is available on Delta Shuttle flights traveling from Seattle to Los Angeles and San Francisco.
