What is supposed to be the world’s longest flight has been put on hold once again.

Emirates’ 17-hour, 35-minute route between Dubai and Panama City was postponed from Feb. 1 to March 31, and now it’s being put on hold indefinitely, USA Today reported.

Emirates said Wednesday in a statement to USA Today that the route would have to wait until the end of 2016 or early 2017.

The first postponement was due to delays in securing codeshare tie-ups with Central America’s largest airline Copa, USA Today said.

But Emirates insisted that the route would eventually launch, according to USA Today.

“The decision was made after an extensive review of all operational factors, including fleet utilization and commercial demand from key markets against the global economic outlook,” Emirates said in a statement to USA Today.
