Emirates’ First Class Is An Experience Unto Itself

With airline approval ratings just one barometer of how an airline is perceived, Emirates is setting the bar for modern air travel.

Thanks to extra seating space, access to hundreds of entertainment channels, lighting designed to minimize the impact of jet-lag, and in-flight menus offering healthy options tailored to adults and children alike, it’s no wonder that Emirates continues to earn such accolades as World’s Best Airline.

It should come as no surprise then that Emirates’ First Class service is something that must be experienced to be believed.

Soup to nuts. First-Class service begins long before passengers ever set foot on the plane, thanks to complimentary door-to-door, chauffeur-driven car service to and from airports in more than 70 cities throughout the Americas Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. Emirates will handle your transfers from home and from the airport to your final destination, whether it’s a can’t-miss Board meeting or your parents’ 50-anniversary celebration. And to ensure that no matter what time you land, you are looking and feeling your best, Emirates provides each of its First Class passengers with an Emirates Private Collection by Bvlgari amenity kit. Each designer bag (fine leather for men, satin for women) is filled with bespoke travel essentials such as Bvlgari signature fragrances and lotions, as well as the basics. A new design is rolled out every nine months, each with a new fragrance. And, Emirates provides a kit bag to passengers on long-haul night flights and flights over 10 hours as well as those traveling on the A380 flights for use in the Shower Spa.

Perfectly Private. To fly these days often means giving up no small measure of your privacy. Enter Emirates First Class private suites (available on most of the fleet’s A380s and Boeing 777s), where passengers can unwind in their own space at their own pace. Tuck into a much-anticipated book, watch the latest thriller or put the final touches on a presentation—all without interruption. Private suites are equipped with personal minibars and seats that can be converted to fully flat beds, ensuring sweet dreams. Passengers throughout the fleet’s First Class can take advantage of a la carte gourmet meals on their timetable. Served on Royal Doulton bone china, each thoughtfully prepared meal is perfectly paired with a fine wine selected by the airline’s sommeliers. When it comes times to stretch ones’ legs. First Class passengers can congregate in the A380 Onboard Lounge, while enjoying hot and cold canapes and a select ion of premium wines and beers and top-shelf spirits.

Enjoy the Flight. It’s a binge-watchers paradise. Emirates provides its First Class passengers with hundreds and hundreds of options, offering the hottest movies, TV shows and on-demand and live TV programming. Closed-captioning and audio description is also available through its ice Digital Widescreen for hearing and visually impaired guests. Those wishing to stay connected to co-workers, family and friends may use the in-flight satellite phone, or use their mobile phone to make calls on more than 300 flights a day. Want to Instagram photos from your journey? Passengers may take advantage of up to 10 MB of complimentary data aboard most A380 aircraft or enjoy 500MB for a nominal fee. (The airline is in the process of rolling out online service across its entire fleet.)
