An otherwise very ordinary flight into Orlando became an unforgettable experience on Sunday as crew and medical personnel helped deliver a baby onboard a Southwest airplane.
It's moments like this when you hope someone remembered to pack the Baby On Board sign.
ABC News has further details on a flight that departed Philadelphia bound for Orlando this weekend. Instead, it made an impromptu visit to Charleston, South Carolina when a woman 26 weeks pregnant felt her water break.
It's at that moment staff reportedly asked for any medical personnel onboard - just like in the movies. Acouple of doctors and a nurse answered the call, and because this is 2016, much of the experience was captured on Twitter thanks to the tweeting from Al.com's director of content Izzy Gould who was on the flight.

ABC News and other outlets quickly shared the wonderful news along with footage wherein you can hear the cries from what is presumably a very impatient baby who couldn't wait to see what this world had to offer.
The most important part, obviously, is that mom and baby are healthy. While Southwest doesn't have an update to the story, ABC News received word from the airline that states both were "doing well when they left the aircraft."
That is when emergency personnel squired the two - and, according to Gould, another male passenger - to a nearby hospital.
Every little travel delay only heightens the stress of travel, but we like to think that most would be understanding and, perhaps, ecstatic to have been a part of such a special moment.
