Hainan Airlines will soon offer three weekly flights between Beijing and Las Vegas, USA Today reported.
The airline announced earlier this year that it would be offering the new service, but it just received the official regulatory approvals to do so this week, the newspaper said. The service will begin Dec. 2.
Thanks to the new service, Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport will have its first regularly scheduled nonstop route to mainland China and its second regularly scheduled route to Asia, USA Today said. Korean Air already flies between Sin City and an airport near Seoul.
Over the past few years, Hainan Air has added new routes between Beijing and Boston, Seattle and San Jose, Calif., according to USA Today.

The Chinese airline’s Boeing 787 Dreamliners feature 36 full flat-bed business-class seats in a 2-2-2 layout and 177 coach seats in a 3-3-3 layout, the newspaper said.
