Last week, JetBlue Airways and Barclaycard announced that the companies have teamed up to offer several new JetBlue MasterCard credit cards as part of the airline's TrueBlue loyalty program.
With the new JetBlue Card, cardmembers can earn awards faster than other travel-based reward cards, including the chance to participate in a limited-time 10,000-bonus-points offer, a revamped rewards program and easier to earn award flights.
Travelers with the JetBlue Card will be eligible to receive all of the benefits of JetBlue's TrueBlue program, including non-expiring points, Family Pooling of points, unlimited earning potential and no blackout dates on JetBlue-operated flights.
All of the new cards will feature common traits such as no foreign transaction fees, 50 percent savings on eligible in-flight purchases (movies, cocktails and food), chip-card technology and fraud liability protection. There will also be additional benefits associated with each of the three types of credit cards; the JetBlue Card, the JetBlue Plus Card and the JetBlue Business Card.

JetBlue Vice President Jamie Perry released a statement about the partnership with Barclaycard, saying, "We wanted to put the award-winning JetBlue experience in our customers' wallets. It's simple; customers want to earn flights more quickly. With our new card, you're able to earn points toward your trip and get there even faster than you think."
Barclaycard partnership director Kristen Bowdoin also released a statement:
"JetBlue is an innovative company that is reinvigorating the travel industry with its service and customer experiences. We are pleased to introduce an easy-to-use travel rewards credit card program that offers cardmembers simple options to earn more points, so they can experience more of the great benefits JetBlue has to offer."
