On Wednesday, J.D. Power named Alaska Airlines and JetBlue Airways the highest-ranked companies in its recent survey of North American airlines.
According to The Associated Press, J.D. Power released the results of a recent survey of the nine largest airlines in North American, which saw Alaska Airlines and JetBlue top the lists once again.
Alaska Airlines was ranked No. 1 among traditional North American airlines for the ninth-consecutive year. On the other hand, JetBlue finished at the top of the list for low-cost carriers for the 11th straight year.
J.D. Power also said overall satisfaction in the airline industry has reached a 10-year high.
The recent online study—which surveyed 10,000 people who flew on a major North American airline between April 2015 and March 2016—went on to claim that passengers are becoming more tolerant of paying extra fees since checked bags fees started becoming common in 2008.
