Sure, NFL fans love their libations, but Oakland Raiders fans may be in a class of their own.
Some Raiders fans on a flight traveling from Oakland, California to Kansas City, Missouri Wednesday contributed to a rare feat, drinking up every ounce of alcohol on a three and a half hour flight.
Bay Area News Group Raiders beat writer Jimmy Durkin was on the flight to document the dubious achievement.
Announcement on flight to Kansas City congratulates the entire aircraft for wiping them completely out of booze. Yep, it's a Raiders flight.- Jimmy Durkin (@Jimmy_Durkin) December 7, 2016

A later tweet from Durkin uncovered that it was a Southwest Airlines flight.
Don't think Carr is slumming it on Southwest. Lol. https://t.co/P9iIb1yaSL- Jimmy Durkin (@Jimmy_Durkin) December 7, 2016

As CBS Sports' John Breech points out, alcohol typically isn't served during the first 15 minutes or the last 15 minutes of the flight, perhaps making this story even more impressive.
Unfortunately for those thirsty fans, the Raiders came up short against the rival Kansas City Chiefs Thursday night. But on the bright side, there should be more beverages available on the flight back to Oakland.
