Southwest Flight Evacuated Because Of This Harmless Device

Making the skin look fresh and young is indeed a worthy personal endeavor, but if we can all agree to remember to take our anti-aging massagers from the seat-back pocket on our respective plane then we may all get out of this crazy thing called life with minimal delays.
It turns out this was all about a device referred to as the Bar 24K Golden Anti-Aging Skin Roller.
A normally innocuous device that proclaims benefits to that already glowing skin of yours can also apparently lead to a significantly delayed flight if left unattended in the seat-back pocket of a flight bound for Denver.
Here is the video via KOB-4:
On Monday, Southwest had released this statement, via KOAT: “Customers are currently being rescreened and will be delayed as a result. We appreciate their patience as our Employees work with the appropriate authorities. Southwest’s highest priority is the Safety and Security of our Customers and Employees. To respect the integrity of the investigation, we do not have any additional details to share at this time.”
As KOB-4 states, a passenger found what they described as a “suspicious metal cylinder item.”
The report points to an image that you can see at the top of this article, which is listed on Amazon as the “Beauty Bar 24k Golden Pulse Facial Massager by Generic.”
At about $5, you wouldn’t think this item that looks like some amalgam of a pen, massager and personal razor would cause so much trouble. Amazon’s description states: “Using the latest nanometer 24K Gold Technology, the gentle yet effective vibration can advance a very calm and relaxing feeling to reduce tightness and related stress for an improved skin rejuvenation.”
Nowhere, however, does it state that it can cause quite an extreme set of circumstances if left unattended on an airplane.
