True fans of the popular movie franchise “Star Wars” are having trouble waiting until Dec. 18 to see the latest film in the series, “Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens.”
For those who want to see the movie early, just fly with Air France.
The French airline is offering the chance for any customer who purchases a ticket on specified trans-Atlantic flights to Paris to watch the new movie on Dec. 16 in France. Thankfully, the film will be shown in English.
The flights accepted in this offer must be booked by Dec. 10 and include flights to Paris from the following departure cities; San Francisco, Los Angeles and two flights from New York.
In a partnership with EuropaCorp CINEMAS, Air France announced it would be offering an exclusive "Flight & Cinema" package that will include a ticket to the pre-release screening and a transfer from Charles de Gaulle Airport to the movie theater.
Once at the theater, travelers will be able to experience the technology that has made EuropaCorp CINEMAS a leader in the French market. With a screen that is almost 60 feet wide, 4K Dual Projection, 3D technology and Dolby ATMOS sound featuring more than 40 surround speakers, the theater will live up to the grandeur of an early screening of “Star Wars.”
While it sounds like a bit much to fly all the way to France to see the latest “Star Wars” movie, fans of the series are notorious for going the extra mile. Being one of the first people in the world to see “Episode VII” will be worth the trip for many travelers.
