Want To Visit Toronto? Air Canada Says Stay The Week!
Well this is certainly unique in the world of airlines.
Air Canada is offering a stopover in Toronto for up to a week for anyone flying from the U.S. to Europe or Asia, either on the outbound flight or the return trip.
Flying from Chicago to London? Stop in a second international city in Toronto. Heading from Washington to Tokyo? Break up your trip with a visit to Toronto
The offer is valid for flights booked by Oct. 31, 2015.
For the same price as a usual roundtrip ticket – without any additional fees for breaking up your journey – you can do all this with Air Canada’s Toronto Stopover Program.
The impetus for the special is that Air Canada wants to market Toronto Pearson International Airport as a true global hub, as well as further incentivizing U.S. passengers to fly to international destinations via Toronto (where they can also pre-clear U.S. customs before boarding a connecting flight back to the U.S.).
You can apply this special offer for either the outbound or return portion of your trip. Use the multi-city option on the aircanada.com booking tool and book your flight to Europe and Asia from the U.S. via Toronto, on flights operated by Air Canada, Air Canada Express or Air Canada rouge.
